Day 1
Forenoon (3 Hours)
- Overview of the additive manufacturing process from design to production
- Key stages: design, slicing, printing, and post-processing
- Overview of DfAM principles and their significance in LPBF
- Key design considerations: geometry, support structures, and material selection
Afternoon (3 Hours)
- Demonstrate file preparation techniques for AM
- Best practices for optimizing files for printing
- Introduction to Battery Printing Techniques
- Overview of additive manufacturing for battery technologies
- Materials used in battery printing: conductive inks, lithium-ion materials, etc
- Advantages of battery printing
Day 2
Forenoon (3 Hours)
- Types of metal powders used in LPBF (stainless steel, titanium, aluminum) & Polymer materials
- Key properties of metal powders: particle size, shape, flowability, and composition
- Influence of powder characteristics on the LPBF process
Afternoon
- Facility Visit & exam
Selection Process
- Round 1 - MCQs based on Additive Manufacturing and Battery Material. 100 candidates will be shortlisted
- Round 2 - Subjective questionnaire. 50 candidates will be shortlisted
- 25 candidates will attend the workshop in August. The remaining 25 candidates will attend the training in later part of the year
